On 11th September 2025, Dr. Kadiatou Koita, successfully defended her PhD thesis.
She is the second student within the INTEGRATION project to achieve this important objective!

Her thesis, entitled “Feasibility, Acceptability and Effectiveness of Community Interventions to Increase Uptake of Intermittent Preventive Treatment of Malaria in Pregnancy in Sub-Saharan Africa”, tackled the persistent gap in delivering malaria prevention to pregnant women, despite proven efficacy.
