On 15th July 2025, Dr. Joel D. Bognini, successfully defended his PhD thesis at Université de Bordeaux, marking the completion of a doctoral journey that began in September 2021 🎓✨.
He is the first student within the INTEGRATION project to achieve this important objective!

His thesis, entitled “Antenatal Care Coverage within the Framework of the 2016 WHO Recommendations: Recent Trends, Individual and Contextual Determinants, and the Impact of a Community-Based Intervention in Burkina Faso and Mali”, represents a major contribution to the field of maternal health and health systems research in West Africa.
